The NEW holiday guinn

sorry for the delay...here are pictures from the new "hotel, motel, holiday guinn". any and all guests are welcome. as you'll notice, we no longer have a guest room but we sure can whip the living room into a nice little suite in no time!

in case you're confused-- The guinn's live on UT's campus in Whitis Court. Trey took this job which provides free housing on campus while he tackles his PhD...

While it may seem surprising, we love living in the dorms!! Of course, some modern comforts get thrown out the window. However, more often than not, we find ourselves incredibly grateful for the opportunity to live in community. We encounter so many people, from various backgrounds and cultures and enjoy learning from and sharing with others!!

21 years of AARON GOSSETT!

We had planned on staying at a beautiful resort in South Padre for the celebration of aaron's birth. Unfortunately, Hurricane Dolly decided to hit shore just days before our arrival...taking out our resort and many more. SO, we relocated our vacay and party to PORT A! Here are a few pics to sum up the week!

ROAD TRIP!

Well, apparently we're not so good at this whole blogging thing. The updates are few and far between... but maybe that will change when we've landed in one spot for more than three days! We just got home from a series of vacations. We started in Memphis, Tennessee where we visited GRACELAND!

Next stop was Nashville, Tennessee
we stayed with Ryan Willard and he showed us the town

Toured Vanderbilt. Ryan works in admissions at the Vanderbilt Law School.

Saw the "Parthenon"

and experienced the "Nashvegas" nightlife!
we even saw Vince Gill perform!

Next stop: Pigeon Forge, TN

Quinton had heard of "Zorbing" (something that started in New Zealand) and had come to the states at only one location...so we went!

you get in this HUGE ball and literally roll down the hill!
Definitely a great experience!!

Next, we climbed Chimney Rock in Asheville, NC
