21 years of AARON GOSSETT!

We had planned on staying at a beautiful resort in South Padre for the celebration of aaron's birth. Unfortunately, Hurricane Dolly decided to hit shore just days before our arrival...taking out our resort and many more. SO, we relocated our vacay and party to PORT A! Here are a few pics to sum up the week!

ROAD TRIP!

Well, apparently we're not so good at this whole blogging thing. The updates are few and far between... but maybe that will change when we've landed in one spot for more than three days! We just got home from a series of vacations. We started in Memphis, Tennessee where we visited GRACELAND!

This is the home of Elvis Presley !

Next stop was Nashville, Tennessee
we stayed with Ryan Willard and he showed us the town

Toured Vanderbilt. Ryan works in admissions at the Vanderbilt Law School.

Saw the "Parthenon"

and experienced the "Nashvegas" nightlife!
we even saw Vince Gill perform!

Next stop: Pigeon Forge, TN

Quinton had heard of "Zorbing" (something that started in New Zealand) and had come to the states at only one location...so we went!

Definitely a great experience!!

Next, we climbed Chimney Rock in Asheville, NC

Guinndependence!!

On July 3rd, we said "goodbye" to Baylor and "hello" to Austin, Texas! It has been an emotional exit, yet our welcome to the University of Texas shows great promise!!
The month of July, (guinndependence, as we call it) holds significant meaning for us. We have a free month of "all play and no work", and will both be employed by the University of Texas in August!

Summer Happenings...

In May, we celebrated
Josef and Sarah Varga!
The wedding was beautiful, and, of course, 'Mija' was stunning!

Shortly thereafter, Jules made a trip to San Angelo
and joined in welcoming Briley Perkins into the world!!

we spent a lot of time with Piper!

If you didn't know, Piper will be doing a study abroad program at Texas A&M University. Mija and Josef will be her "host family." We will miss her tremendously, but are happy to see her living and learning with such a wonderful couple!!!!

We celebrated 26 years of Guinn at Ninfa's!!

We were able to spend time with the Rowe's

Bud and Coco came up to help with move in! Then, we celebrated GUINN!
