my most favorite things that she's doing right now-
attempting to sing. so sweet.
she's fallen in love with "puppy" her little stuffed animal friend. she loves puppy so much that I'VE fallen in love with puppy. just seeing how happy this little guy makes her makes me so so happy. she will carry him around the house, is constantly giving him hugs and kisses, reads him books, tries to give him milk and food. it is the cutest!
she insist on feeding herself from a spoon. it's kind of annoying because it turns what should take 15 minutes into 45. no joke. she will put black bean by black bean, rice grain by rice grain on her spoon and then put in into her mouth. and don't even think about taking that spoon away and trying to help her. she's a big girl now...and she can do this ALL by herself.
THE BEST is giving her commands and watching her follow them through. i am seriously amazed at all the things she knows. i had no idea-- until one day, she just started doing absolutely everything i asked. for example "joybird, go get puppy (i think he's in your room) and get your milk and come sit in your big girl chair." she walks in her room, comes out with puppy, grabs her milk, and sits in her chair. OH MY GOSH. how do they know all of this?!?!?!!?!?
or "joybird, do you want to go take piper potty outside? we need to put on your shoes!" grabs her shoes, grabs pipers leash... unbelievable.
it is so motivating to me to want to teach her more and more and more...just watching her soak up this world (and at such a fast pace) is the most fascinating thing! it's so rewarding as a parent to see that all the things that you have been saying to her for months has actually sunk in and she gets it. oooh i love it!
